COLOURS OF GOD Christine Dodd A workshop in which participants will use colour to explore some Scriptural images of God and what they mean for us. Participants do not have to be good at art - just willing to engage with the process! Christine Dodd was the Director of Adult Education for the Diocese of Hallam until her retirement. She is a published author and watercolour artist who has exhibited in the UK and in the USA. Christine is also experienced in the use of other media including pastels and acrylics. She is an experienced spiritual director and retreat giver. |

Timothy Swinglehurst is a priest of the Leeds Diocese. He has a degree in Scripture and is currently working on new resources for Confirmation. |

Michael T. Winstanley Exploring historical, literary and theological aspects of the Resurrection Narratives. Michael T. Winstanley is a Salesian of Don Bosco. He Lectured in New Testament Studies for many years at Ushaw College, Durham. He has served twice Provincial of the British Salesian Province and for many years he was based in the Salesian Youth Retreat Centre in Bollington. Michael has written books on the Gospels and Gospel Spirituality, and given retreats in many different countries. |

Bishop John Arnold was installed as Bishop of Salford in December 2014, having served as priest and Auxiliary Bishop in Westminster. He is Chair of the CAFOD trustees and Bishop spokesman for the Media and the Environment. He is currently engaged on a project in the Diocese of Salford for the development of Mission Parishes, in which each person is invited to be a missionary disciple |
Gentle Mary, meek and mild…. REALLY?
Chris Thomas This workshop will explore Mary as she is found in the Gospels. Looking at her particularly through Luke’s eyes as a prototype for discipleship. Chris Thomas is a priest of the Liverpool Archdiocese. He has served as youth chaplain, a University chaplain, a Parish Priest and is now the director of the Irenaeus Project. The Project is an attempt to highlight the whole area of spirituality for everyone. Chris is vice chair of the National Service Team for Charismatic Renewal, part of the Harvesters Men’s steering group and a member of the Good News editorial committee. He has spoken all over the British Isles as well as Ireland and mainland Europe. He is the author of ‘Love is the Key’, ‘When did we stop skipping?’, 'Meta What? ‘Holiness is for everyone’, ‘Forgiveness is for giving’ and ‘Let it begin with me.’ He writes regularly for periodicals and magazines as well as collecting antiques! |

He is married to Anna and they have two children – Molly and Tom. When he’s not doing the ironing, David works as a Bible engagement researcher at the CODEC research centre - Durham University. |

Steve Atherton A workshop to engage in seeking and looking! Steve Atherton is a married man with five grown-up children. He is the Justice & Peace field worker for Liverpool archdiocese and is experienced in adult faith-formation. After 30 years as a Drama teacher in Wigan life was never the same after he visited CAFOD projects in Bagladesh as a millennium awardee in 2000. He has recently returned from The Romero Trust pilgrimage to El Salvador. |
